Revolution is one of the great social changes whose effects are very effective in changing societies. Since leaders in the process of revolution have three roles of ideologue, mobilization and construction, but during the struggle, they appear prominently in the role of mobilization. Imam Khomeini (RA) as the leader of the Islamic Revolution was able to play a role in all three dimensions of leadership and especially in the mobilization of various intellectual groups appeared on the scene of the struggle. The main purpose of this study is to recognize the role of Imam Khomeini (as) leadership in mobilizing groups and in this research, the method of document analysis and tools for taking notes from books, articles, and official documents have been used. Also, in this article, according to Eric Hoffer's theories as an intermediate theorist about the role of mobilization leadership has been used. Thus, the findings show that Imam (ra) with the position of religious authority and divine power appeared in the role of leadership of the revolution, and based on this, Islamic vision and special political criteria without violence mobilized different intellectual groups around the axis of the school of Islam. And it has shown the face of widespread public mobilization.
