Since general diplomacy addresses people as a component of soft power and considers shaping public opinion, it has recently attracted the attention of governments and they try to secure their national interests. This article assumes that general diplomacy in Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy has a close bond with principles and values of Islamic revolution. By applying policies and benefiting from related institutions and tools, Islamic Iran has tried to promote and spread objectives and values of Islamic revolution among other nations.
