Abstract
The current study tries to find out whether Shiite political jurisprudence is viable and capable enough to resolve new social and political problems at the age of religious democracy. To find the answer, this article proposes a hypothesis that in view of its characteristics and capacities, Shiite jurisprudence is viable and capable enough to resolve new contemporary social and political problems. Having reviewed concepts and general issues, we have covered the concept of political jurisprudence as well as viability and other main political concepts. Finally we believe that the victory of Islamic republic of Iran initialized the movement of dynamic jurisprudence toward the discovery of theoretic and practical viability and capabilities of jurisprudence which needs theorization in political jurisprudence and religious democracy as a result.
